More sleep in the future??

A few days ago we heard from Patrick. He still tries to call about once a week when he can. He said that things have been really crazy for the last month over there, but he is doing pretty good all in all. His dangerous scale is at like a 1 or a 2 still. Hopefully that will go up again once he gets back to a safer area (which Patrick things MAY happen sometime). He has just started a new rotation and thinks that with that he will get some more time to call, and maybe get some more Internet access and sleep. Of course, this is unknown for sure until it actually happens. He is in the same big city, but sometimes moves to different locations within that city. The temperature most days is between 110 and 120 degrees. Patrick is already not looking forward to what August holds. He says the temperature usually goes up to about 140 degrees!! At night Patrick and the guys sleep outside where it is cooler. He says there are some awful bugs that attach them throughout the night when they are sleeping though. Patrick is doing a lot of patrol work, and he says that the weeks go by pretty fast. He said that Vespa Scooters are the main means of transportation there – they are like cars are here. Of course there are some cars there as well, but he said those are for the rich. Patrick says the food is still horrible, but he is in his glory when it comes to DVDs – as they are $1.50 each!! Patrick sounds pretty good on the phone most days and keeps talking about his mid-tour leave in November, as well as all the things that have been happening back home.
