Texas

Well, it has been terribly long since my last update. I have just had less time due to the recent changes in my life to post. I do hope to continue to maintain this blog throughout Patrick's service with the Army, but sometimes the posts may be few and far between.

Patrick enjoyed the month of April back home in Massachusetts visiting with family, and friends and relaxing. It was great for him to see some of the people he hasn't seen in over a year, and meet some new faces! Patrick's first day home was full of fun new things. When he stepped off the plane he met his family anxiously awaiting, and he met his 3 month old nephew for the first time. They were instant buddies both dressed in matching camo outfits! From the airport it was straight to the car dealership where Patrick finished the paperwork and drove off in his brand new car! After a year of hard work in Iraq and saving he was very pleased with his new purchase! From then on his leave was full of family and friends, and just about everything Patrick wanted to do on his month home.

After that Patrick headed back to Texas where he will be stationed for a few months before moving to Colorado with his unit. He recently celebrated his 21st birthday, and is looking forward to his move to Colorado (anticipated this summer). He has regular email and internet access, so feel free to write. I will also post his new address!
