Sharp Shooter

We heard from Patrick again the other day. He passed his M16 testing with 34 targets, which puts him at the level of a sharp shooter. Not much more has changed with him. The next area his platoon will focus on will be Other American Made Weapons. He is still a Squad Leader. Patrick is looking forward to Family Weekend in November. He has started receiving more letters from friends and thanks everyone for writing. He has been writing back to some people who have written to him. Generally it takes about five days for a letter to reach Patrick, and also five days once Patrick mails a letter to reach us. The letters and the posting he receives really brings up his spirits. He misses everyone, and can't wait to see people when he returns. He is always asking about current events and what is happening in everyones lives back home. Sorry there isn't much more news to share, but as always I will keep you all posted as we hear more.
