one or two times a week. So far everything is going pretty well. It has been really hot there lately, and they are either just entering their summer season, or their summer has just began. At night Patrick says there are a lot of mosquitoes there. Patrick was excited because he found a store where he was able to purchase a bunch of movies on DVD for cheap, and if you know Patrick at all, he loves movies!! He is keeping a journal on his computer, and hopes he will have internet access at some time. He said he has been taking some picture and will try to forward them to me if he is able. He is sleeping on a cot and does not have a pillow yet, but says that his laundry bag is working well as his pillow for the time being. He said his current location is fairly comfortable but he does not know how long he will be there, as he is expecting to be traveling to another location at some time. He does see some “fireworks” everyday, but he says for the time being they are not too close. At first Patrick was suffering for a lot of nosebleeds, but those have stopped recently. All in all Patrick says he is doing well. He has also been eating “real food” instead of MREs, and seemed very happy about that. He says hello to everyone, and hopes to have a mailing address for us sometime soon. Patrick has been lifting just about everyday with his Squad Leader and Team Leader. His company is still in the transition stage so his work shifts are not too bad yet. Well, that’s all the info. for now.
