Keep Your Fingers Crossed!

I know it has been awhile since my last update, but with Patrick in the states there is much less news and activity to share (which is a good thing!). Patrick's company is slated for redeployment next year before his service enlistment is up. His company will be headed to Afganistan, but it looks like (keeping our fingers crossed) that Patrick will not have to go since he will not be re-enlisting. Now, of course, this is not definate, as with the Army anything can change in a matter of moments. But let's all pray and keep our fingers crossed, that Patrick will be able to remain on US Soil for the remainder of his enlistment. We think the new stop loss laws are helping! We will know for sure by Spring of 2010 when Pat's company would be beginning some training.

Patrick is still expected home for the Holidays. As of right now we are not exactly sure of his arrival date, as it has already changed twice. We can't wait to see him, and spend a holiday with him (it's been a while since we have been able to spend a holiday as a family). Feel free to call my Mom or I to get more details on his arrival and his stay. He does already have some events scheduled, and we hope to be able to have a little family time during his visit home, as well as letting Patrick get a list rest in!!
