Overdue Post

Sorry it has been so long since my last post, however, not too much has changed since then. Patrick is still doing well, and is very much looking forward to coming home sometime in November. He says that for the most part things are going pretty quickly over there, and hopes from now until November goes quickly, but then of course wants things to slow down once he gets home. Patrick thanks everyone for the snacks that they have been mailing. He has been taking many of them with him when he goes out on missions so he has something to eat. The snacks and foods are really lifting his spirits, so we thank you for mailing them to him, and we ask that you please continue to do so. If you don't want to mail a whole package, feel free to contact one of us, and we will include your item(s) in one of our packages. We tend to mail about every other week. Patrick is still very tired as there are some days he gets little to no sleep. They did have some rain over there one day that lasted about 15 minutes. This was the first rain Patrick has seen since he has left the States. Sorry there is not much more news at this time, but not too much else has been different. Patrick communicates mostly through email, and we get a call about once a week, sometimes once every two depending on Patrick's rotation. His voice sounds goods, and in his emails he seems like he is doing fairly well.
